Drawma

The classic draw-and-guess party game. One person draws, everyone else races to guess the word. Simple, chaotic, and endlessly funny.

What is Drawma?

Drawma on Cotime is the online version of the beloved party game. One player gets a word and has to draw it while everyone else types their guesses as fast as they can. The faster you guess correctly, the more points you earn.

It's the kind of game where terrible drawing skills are actually more entertaining than good ones. Stick figures, abstract blobs, and creative interpretations are all part of the fun.

The Point of the Game

Score the most points by the end of all rounds. You earn points both as the drawer (when people guess your drawing correctly) and as a guesser (by being quick to identify what's being drawn). The player with the highest total score at the end wins.

How It Works

  1. A drawer is chosen — Each round, one player becomes the drawer. They receive a word that only they can see.
  2. Draw it out — The drawer has a limited time to sketch the word on the shared canvas. No letters or numbers allowed!
  3. Guess fast — Everyone else types their guesses. Earlier correct guesses earn more points. The drawer also gets points when someone guesses correctly.
  4. Rotate — After the round ends, a new drawer is chosen. Everyone gets a turn to draw.

Rules at a Glance

No Letters or Numbers

The drawer can only communicate through pictures. Writing words, letters, numbers, or symbols that spell out the answer is not allowed.

Timed Rounds

Each drawing round has a time limit. If nobody guesses the word before time runs out, no points are awarded for that round.

Speed Matters

The faster you guess correctly, the more points you earn. First to guess gets the most points, with diminishing returns for later guessers.

Everyone Draws

The drawing role rotates so every player gets their turn at the canvas. You'll be both a drawer and a guesser throughout the game.

Late Joining

Players can join a Drawma game that's already in progress. They'll jump in on the next round and start earning points from there.

Hints Over Time

As the timer ticks down, letter hints are gradually revealed to help the guessers along. The earlier you guess, the fewer hints you needed.
