What is Poke The Ogre?

Poke The Ogre is a massive multiplayer brawler built to run in any browser. One player takes the role of a mighty ogre — big, powerful, and in the middle of the arena. Every other player spawns as a tiny attacker with one mission: poke the ogre until it falls.

The catch: friendly fire is on. The attackers aren't a coordinated team — they're a chaotic mob. Swing at the ogre, miss, and you might knock your own ally into a wall. Ragdoll physics ensures that every hit, every stumble, and every last-ditch escape looks gloriously ridiculous.

Up to 250 players can join a single session directly from their browser — no download, no account. Share a link on stream and your entire chat can pile in.

Why it's perfect for streamers

Most interactive stream games give chat a button to press. Poke The Ogre gives them a character with physics, momentum, and the ability to accidentally knock their teammates off a ledge. The chaos is the content.

As the streamer, you're the ogre — the centre of everything. Your chat is trying to take you down while simultaneously getting in each other's way. It's a boss fight where the mob is the entertainment.

Key features

1 vs 250

One player is the ogre; up to 250 others join as attackers. The most players of any game on Cotime — built for big communities and active chat.

Ragdoll physics

Every collision, shove, and missed swing plays out with ragdoll physics. The results are unpredictable, replayable, and usually hilarious.

Friendly fire

Attackers can hit each other. No coordination, no safe zones — just 250 players swinging at the same target and occasionally each other.

No download needed

Viewers join from a link in chat. They click, pick a name, they're in the game. No install, no account, no friction on their end.

Who is it for?

It works for small groups, but it really comes alive at scale.

  • Streamers who want something genuinely interactive — where the outcome depends on what chat does, not just a poll result. You play the ogre; they play the chaos.
  • Large communities (Discord servers, event nights) where you want everyone to be able to participate at once. Contrails handles up to 50 players; Poke The Ogre handles 250.
